Many years into my career as a lawyer, after becoming a mother and experiencing legal challenges in my own family, I realized that family law was my calling. So, I pivoted and never looked back.
It is a privilege to be trusted by my clients through some of the most difficult times in their lives. I know from both professional and personal experience how important it is to have sharp, responsive counsel and a lawyer who has your back. For that reason, I feel incredibly honored to guide my clients through each step of the legal process, whether in or out of the courtroom. I pride myself on listening to my clients with compassion, giving sound advice with honesty (even when it’s hard for the client to hear), and relentlessly pursuing the best solutions for families.
In my law practice, I build in-depth relationships with people who need family law counsel in matters such as:
In addition to my work in the firm, I also regularly handle pro bono cases and do other volunteer work with the Minnesota Women Lawyers, Tubman’s Legal Clinic, and the Domestic Abuse Legal Advocacy Center. Advocating for the underserved and under-resourced in these ways and others is important to me.
